I have a few Doves left to Bacon Wrap and Grill this Week.

I was recently visiting a fellow dove hunter and he shared some some game with me that included a few doves. Now I need to gently thaw them out, take the breast meat off of the bone, brine them and stuff them with fresh chopped jalapeƱos, wrap them in bacon and grill them fast and hot. Although these little birds have been frozen for almost a year and they might have some freezer burn they will cook up very nicely.

I will use the David McElyea method below and serve them with a bit of fettuccine alfredo fresh tomatoes avocado and fresh spinach salad. I also have a bit of venison and pheasant so I will be doing a lot of grilling the next two or three weeks to clear out the fridge for the new hunting season. 1157476_167519686773625_320880889_n
