Texas Hunting License 14-15 Season on Sale Now..

One good thing about getting old is the price of the Grand Slam Texas hunting and fishing license with everything but the duck stamp for which can be purchased for only $32 which is a very, very good deal. Whatever your age remember to have the issuing person ask you the H.I.P. questions about how many migratory birds you shot last year even if you did not go hunting last year. H.I.P. certification which is no charge is required to hunt doves and other migratory birds so make that part of your check list. A final thing is that if you were born after September 1, 1971 then you are required to take and pass a hunter safety class which you can now do online. If you fall into this category go online to the Texas Parks and Wildlife site and get the correct information. I will post some more info about our upcoming trip this coming week.
