Remington 700 Trigger Problem, looks like a recall.

The Remington 700 and model 7 appear to have a problem with the trigger that could potentially be very dangerous. After years of work bringing this to the attention of Remington a Montana father who lost his son due to a Remington 700 malfunction is pleased that a solution seems eminente. Remington may recall millions of rifles and if you have a Remington 700 watch the gun news for an announcement that is expected very soon. In the meantime always point the rifle at the ground when taking it off of safety or opening the bolt since both of these actions appear to have caused the 700 rifle to fire without touching the trigger.
