Screen Shot 2014-02-26 at 6.46.52 PM

Fellow Shooters, once more we will make an annual pilgrimage to Tecumseh, Oklahoma on Friday February 6 to partake of Chicken Fried Steak smothered in creamy, white gravy with fried onion rings or the burger of your choice at the Boomerang Restaurant and then Saturday morning February 7 we will shoot pheasants, European style. Lodging for the first eight fellows who sign up will be in the adequate cabins on the premises of Quail Ridge Hunting located at 36912 Rattlesnake Hill Rd, right up the hill from the old cemetery. Quail Ridge 405 306-1578

The price per gun will $350 for 15 birds and each of us needs to contact Quail Ridge as soon as possible and make our reservations. The pheasants are shot from shooting stands as they rise, coming towards us over the trees. There are dog handlers and retrievers on hand to pick up the birds which will be taken in a cleaned for us while we enjoy a barbeque meal at the end of the morning hunt.

Please let me know before January 1 if you can make the shoot this year. Joe MeElyea or 214 728-3522

More info will be posted soon however if you are interested please don’t delay since the shoot was fully booked rather early last year.
